In the early 1950s, Swedish businessman and designer Sigvard Berggren built the seven-seater Sigvard Berggren Futurecar – the “Car of the Future” with massive air intakes and a fin resembling an airplane without wings or a sea monster.
In the sturdy chassis, constructed with 120 meters of pipes, a 100-horsepower Ford engine was housed, propelling the six-meter-long vehicle to 170 km/h.
The driver occupied the center of the cabin with a panoramic view, while passengers enjoyed the lounge with chairs, a bed, a card table, and retractable entry hatches.
