The giant panda from Singapore has returned to China

The public’s favorite, a two-year-old black-and-white bear named Le Le, left the Singapore River Wonders wildlife park.

Preparations for the panda’s relocation began in mid-December, with Le Le being placed in quarantine. A special container with his favorite treats, bamboo shoots, and fruits, was prepared for him. The temperature in the plane was maintained at the usual level for the bear – 15-16 °C.

Le Le was born in the Singapore Zoo in August 2021 to the pair Kai Kai and Jia Jia. Interestingly, the pregnancy in the panda was discovered just five days before the birth of the cub, making the little bear a surprise. In China, Le Le has settled in the Research and Breeding Center for Giant Pandas in Chengdu.
